John Sullivan

John was raised as a Christian, but he did not develop a personal relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ until January of 2005—shortly after one of the most challenging times in his life. He is married to Kriste Kissner (Sullivan), and they are blessed with five children—two in Houston, one in Jerusalem, one in Milan, and one in Raleigh, NC. They have seven grandchildren. They attend Grace Bible Church. John has a passion for men to know the Word of God, to experience the fullness of life in Christ, and to avoid the pitfalls that are so common for men. He felt called to start Biblical Manhood in the spring of 2022 with his close friends and brothers in Christ to equip men with Biblical truths they can use to take their stand against the lies of the enemy and the deceptive pattern of the world. John loves tennis, pickleball, traveling, reading, hiking, biking, nature, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Jeff Bartlett

Jeff was raised in a Tulsa Presbyterian Church but did not seek out a personal relationship with Jesus until 1999, shortly after moving to Houston and while attending an “Alpha” class at First Presbyterian Church. In 2002, he married to Sarah Morrisett (Bartlett) and they are blessed with four kids – two in High School and two away in College. For the past 20 years the family has attended Grace Bible Church and have been active in the church’s small group, community, child care, youth and marriage ministries. Jeff feels called to encourage men to allocate time to a fulsome understanding of the bible and more importantly, a genuine relationship with our Creator and Savior. Away from family and work, Jeff enjoys tennis, golf, travel and hanging out with family and friends.

William Wheless

William was raised in a religious home in Houston but did not come to a personal, transformative faith in Jesus Christ until 2000, during a difficult business venture. William encountered God’s grace in a way that reshaped both his life and his understanding of true success. He has been married for more than 25 years to Laura, William considers family one of God’s greatest blessings. Together they are raising five children, ages 22 to 12. His commitment to faith and family forms the foundation of his leadership, relationships, and daily pursuits. William’s passion and gifting is connecting people—bringing individuals together in ways that strengthen community and edify the Body of Christ. In business, ministry, and relationships, William seeks to lead with authenticity and humility, believing influence flows from a life dependent on God and grounded in love. His life’s purpose is to serve faithfully, build up others in Christ, and walk daily in deeper fellowship with the Lord.

Adam Wells

Adam accepted Christ as his savior in 1997 through the high school ministry Young Life. He has ever since sought out all opportunities to know God more deeply and share the promise of God’s provision in the lives of God’s children. .Adam is married with three children. His life is divided into an era when pride blinded him to his own self-righteousness, and then the current era, where he has embraced continuous dependence upon God and vulnerability among men. Across both eras, Adam has seen God’s holiness, power, and love impact those who seek strength and comfort from Him. He and his family attend Chapelwood Church and remain active supporters of Young Life, and other evangelical and discipleship-oriented ministries. Adam loves spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis, and reading.

James Low

James’s journey as a Christian started as a teenager in Ottawa, Canada, where he grew up, when he started attending a local church through the invitation of a family friend and began hearing God’s word. His faith grew deeper in university when he got involved with Athletes in Action ministry and saw the fruit of being in community with other brothers in Christ. He has a heart to walk alongside and encourage men through the ups and downs of life. James married Kelley Sullivan (Low) in 2016, and they have four children, three sons and one daughter. James and his family are members at Christ the King church. He loves staying active with his children, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
