The voices of the world, fear, and even well-intentioned friends & family can cause us to shrink back from the powerful life God intends for us as men created in His image with His indwelling Spirit.

The Apostle Paul knew this power and prayed “that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know…His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead.” Eph. 1:18-20
